Another Fine Season for the Ladies at Potomac Tennis
Finishing their second season at the leagues highest level, the Red "A" team at Potomac Tennis finished their season with a respectable 3-4 record. Captain Lisa Smith, along with several new players, was able to guide her teammates to an addition win leaving the team in the middle of the pack in the seasonending standings.

After last seasons ceremonial outcome for the now Blue "A" team, the ladies reenforced their play-off win of last year by posting a 3-5 record in this new division. By finishing in the middle of this division, captain Fiona Carson and her players have reassured their placement within the league and look to increase their win total come spring of next year.

In her second season as captain of the Blue "B" team, Joy Marcus rallied her ladies to a 5-2 record leaving them only one win shy of winning the division. With several newcomers to the team I have no doubt that this team will remain competitive and challenge to win the division come spring time.

As perennial play-off contenders the Blue "C" team unfortunately found themselves on the wrong side of lady luck once again this season. With injury's throughout the team and Mother Nature not on our side, the team finished the season tied for 5th with a 2-5 record. Bonnie Kind, captain for the last few years, has asked previously mentioned Mother Nature to make it up to her. This team is due for a breakout season come spring time. Division clubs beware.

PTFC Senior Team Holds Their Own, Finishes Well.
The clubs senior team recently completed the second half of their season and finished the year-long competition in a solid second place. Their 4-3-1 fall record combined with the 6-1-1 spring record left the team with 29 points, two points better that the next team. Men's 4.0-4.5 Interclub Team Finishes Third.
The men's 4.0-4.5 clay court team, lead by captain Adam Chafetz, finished their season this past summer with a 5-2 record and in third place. Congratulations gentlemen for another fine season.
